Winter - Loved by the Rich, Loathed by the Poor
Nothing racist or rude about what i am saying but just facts to support my claim...
rich people vs poor people at winter time:
poor - layer up t-shirts to stay warm
rich - go shopping for a new winter jacket
poor - huddle under the blankets to escape the cold
rich - turn up the heat and eat a huge slab of prime rib
poor - give up on sports as its too cold to play outside
rich - lace up the snowboots and go snowboarding up in the mountains
poor - wish and pray that spring comes soon
rich - take a flight to somewhere tropical and experiencing warm weather
all the things that are needed to feel comfortable when the weather is cold requires money
- heavy jacket
- winter sports
- traveling to warm places
- big holiday feasts
- heater + gas bill
while, if u think about it....summer can be enjoyed by all and at minimal costs
- eating light meals (salads)
- sandles and tshirts
- lounging on the beach
- summer sports (swimming, football, baseball)
- suntanning
- camping
and hence, the distribution of the world's wealth reflects this:
- the poorest countries line the equator (africa, southeast asia, india)
- while the coldest countries tend to be well off (scandinavia, canada, new zealand)
